Rocio Diaz O'Rourke is a public relations, marketing, and event strategist. As a senior production professional, she has directed over 320 large-scale live events throughout the United States and 276 virtual events for national and international audiences. Rocio has produced The Nature Conservancy Virtual Earth Day Summit (2021, 2022), Amnesty International 50th Anniversary Celebration in San Francisco, the LennonOno Grant for Peace in NYC, the inaugural Shine A Light on Human Rights Award presented to His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama, and Amnesty International Secret Policeman's Ball at Radio City Music Hall in NYC.

Rocio currently leads The Nature Conservancy (TNC) California Events team as Director of Events and Ambassador Program, the largest global environmental conservation organization. In this role, Rocio successfully steered the organization through the pandemic. She kept all the organization’s stakeholders — including scientists working in remote locations, trustees, volunteers, leadership, and staff — connected and engaged with the organization's mission. Her work earned her and her team Most Valuable Performer and Most Innovative Awards for 2020 and 2021.

Before joining TNC, Rocio served as advisor and producer for the Rock Against Trafficking Foundation in California and as the Executive Producer of Somos Valientes, a docuseries and educational platform promoting peace and social activism among Mexico's youth and children. Rocio was the Director of Marketing and Events for the British American Business Council in 2014. She held the same position with Amnesty International in NYC from 2008 to 2014, designing and implementing their nationwide events. 


From 2004 to 2006, Rocio worked with a national organization in Washington DC that focused on improving educational opportunities for Hispanics, where she organized a sizeable number of community-focused events, lectures, and award ceremonies.
